Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 13, 2026
This page lists every cookie GearsTrack sets on gearstrack.com, why, and for how long. All of them are first-party except Meta’s advertising cookies. We don’t use cookies to sell your data. The Privacy Policy covers everything else we collect.
Strictly necessary
The site doesn’t work without these, so they can’t be switched off. They are never used for advertising.

Advertising measurement (optional)
These are set only when your choice allows it. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland they stay off until you accept them. Elsewhere they are on unless you opt out or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. Turning them off also deletes them.

Change your choice any time: .
Browser storage
The site also keeps small items in your browser’s local storage, which never leave your device unless noted: dismissed prompts and tips, an unsent note or comment, and, when advertising measurement is allowed, the campaign tags of the link that first brought you here. Those campaign tags are saved to your account when you sign up, so we can tell which channels bring people in.
Other services
Cloudflare, our host, counts page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies. Video clips play from Cloudflare Stream only after you press play. Pages you reach through an affiliate or retailer link are covered by that retailer’s own cookie policy.
